About SoilMind AI

Built from years of field and laboratory experience.

SoilMind AI was founded by Karimunnisa Shaik, An agricultural biotechnologist and extension specialist. with more than eight years of applied experience across soil testing, nutrient management, farmer advisory and biofertiliser production.

From the Laboratory to the Field

Karimunnisa’s career began in commercial biofertiliser production, where she worked with mycorrhizal inoculum, microbial testing, contamination control and GMP/SOP processes. She later spent seven years working directly with farmers, analysing soil samples and advising on soil health, nutrients, crop selection and cultivation practices.

Turning Agronomy Into Technology

That practical experience became the foundation for SoilMind AI. Karimunnisa authored the agronomic rule base behind the platform’s Biofertiliser Microbiome Matching logic, connecting soil conditions with biological inputs such as mycorrhizal fungi, rhizobium and PGPR. She also directs product development and validates the agronomic logic behind the recommendations.

Mission and Vision

The principles guiding the development of SoilMind AI and the future it aims to support.

Our Mission

To make sound agronomic decision making available to every farmer, by turning documented soil science into clear, field-level recommendations on biological inputs.

Our Vision

Farming systems where biological inputs are selected with the same precision as chemical ones, improving long-term soil health without sacrificing productivity.

How We Work

The principles that guide how SoilMind AI is built, tested and applied in real-world agricultural environments.

Agronomy Before Technology

Technology should support sound agronomic decision-making, not replace it. Every recommendation begins with documented soil science and practical agricultural knowledge.

Explainable Recommendations

Recommendations should be transparent and understandable. Users should be able to see the reasoning behind a recommendation rather than relying on unexplained black-box outputs.

Built for Real Field Conditions

Agricultural technology must work where farmers work. SoilMind AI is designed with practical field conditions in mind, including environments with limited or unreliable connectivity.

Honest Reporting of Results

Performance claims should be supported by evidence. Results, findings and future improvements should be communicated transparently and based on validated data wherever possible.

Who We Serve

Farmers and Growers

SoilMind AI is designed to support practical agronomic decision-making across the agricultural ecosystem, from individual growers to organisations supporting field-level productivity.

Agricultural Advisors

Practical biological input recommendations matched to their own soil conditions, crop requirements and seasonal factors.

Farmer Cooperatives

Consistent and explainable guidance to support the farmers and growers they advise with data-driven insights.

Global Organizations

Shared soil intelligence across member farms to support coordinated planning and more informed input decisions.
